The Electroacoustic Composition Competition is held annually in the memory of Iranian avant-garde composer, “Reza Korourian” (1971-2015). This competition invites composers of all ages, who are interested in electronic music, to participate in the competition in order to support and introduce electroacoustic music in Iran.
The Reza Korourian Awards is held by “Yarava Music Group” in collaboration with different universities each year and sponsored by Korourian’s family.
This competition started in 2016, and nine editions of it have been held so far. Below you can see the names and pictures of the selected composers of all the editions.
