Biography

Farzad Hosseinabadi (Iran, 1989) is a composer and lecturer. First He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering fields and then earned master’s degree in music composition at Tehran University of Art.

Farzad Hosseinabadi’s piece, Adaptation, for Oud and Live Electronics, was one of the selected pieces in the 6th RKC (2021). This piece, alongside other selected pieces, was released on a CD titled Phantasma by YMG Records. The oud player of this piece was Yasamin Shahhosseini.

Farzad Hosseinabadi’s piece, Sunset in the Woodland, won the first prize in the 2nd RKC (2017). This piece, alongside other selected pieces, was released on a CD titled Sunset in the Woodland by YMG Records.
