Since late 2003, in addition to its regular activities, this group has organized free educational, research, and performance sessions titled “Music Privacy” (Khalvat-e-Musighi) to introduce various musical genres, including classical, traditional, regional (Maqami), flamenco, pop, rock, and more. The objective of these sessions has been to introduce and deepen the understanding of various musical forms by reflecting on and examining prevailing listening habits, while simultaneously providing a suitable space for musicians to present their new experiments in diverse fields and styles—without “prejudice” toward any specific genre—and away from the typical challenges of organizing formal concerts or research meetings. To date, fifty “Music Privacy” sessions have been held, featuring lectures and performances by masters and artists such as Amir-Ashraf Arianpour, Houman Asadi, Amir Teimouri, Azad Hakim-Rabet, Asal Hanachi, Shahrokh Khajenouri, Mohsen Daeinabi, Hossein Dehlavi, Mohammad Zolnouri, Azadeh Rezaei, Soroush Riazi, Susanne Zapf, Mehdi Setayeshgar, Arvin Sedaghat-Kish, Manuchehr Sahbai, Arash Abbasi, Mehdi Ebadati, Azadeh Atri, Farid Omran, Farzia Fallah, Ali Ghamsari, Amir Konjani, Rassam Lordekani, Narges Mehrabi, Mohsen Mirmehdi, Joachim Heintz, Taher Yarveysi, Hossein Yousefzamani, and others. It is worth noting that the 38th and 43rd editions of “Music Privacy” were held in Berlin, in collaboration with the Berlin Free Music Association and the Iranian Community in Germany.
