She was born in Tehran in 1995 and started learning the piano when she was seventeen, and she was taught to compose music by Mohammadreza Tafazzoli, and Karen Keyhani at Tehran University of Art. She has been involved with electronic music since 2017. Now she is a PhD student at University of North Texas.
Shahrzad Talebi’s piece, Remember, for Santour and fixed media won the first prize of the 4th RKC in 2019. This piece, alongside other selected pieces, was released on a CD titled Remember by YMG Records. Soheil Tabatabaei is the instrumentalist for this piece.
Her piece, Silent Dream, was one of the selected pieces of the 2nd RKC in 2017. This piece, alongside other selected pieces, was released on a CD titled Sunset in the Woodland by YMG Records.
