Through organizing the 2017 edition of the competition and the festival, the Yarava Music Group takes another step forward in the introduction and support of composers and electronic music itself by facilitating the performance of this year’s winners and other Iranian and International composers, holding seminars and composition masterclasses, presentation of papers, and technical debating and discussion sessions.

With more composers visiting Iran over the last ten years, we have been faced with the question: ‘Is there any platform for Electronic and Electroacoustic music in Iran’ Our answer has always been that there are many who work in this area, but there is no scene for this kind of music. But today, the situation has changed.

Over the past few decades, the evolution of electronic music in Iran has been characterized by substantial contributions from a variety of composers, musicians, and ensembles.
