Biography
Parham Izadyar is a contemporary artist and audio programmer. Most of her works are electronic music which are inspired by Iranian traditional music. she is also interested in sound designing for visual arts. her main goal is to find a balance between intuition and logic while doing art.
She was born 1993 in Karaj, Iran – She started music in 2009 by playing Piano. in 2012 entered Art University of Tehran. She continued studying piano with Arpine Israelyan and she focused his work on contemporary composition with Karen Keyhani. since 2016 she continues her journey as a electronic composer under the guidance of Joachim Heintz. she is also a member of YARAVA MUSIC GROUP and studio manager at Y.E.S “Yarava Electronic Studio” in Iran. YES does lots of activities in the filed of electronic music such as YESCOLAB, Pezhvāk and electronic performances,
in 2023 she founded PEACE “Private Events and Artistic Collaboration Ensemble”. and also FluPhy “Friendly Lab, Universal Phase” which is unofficial record label for open source pulshing artist’s works.
currently she is working on her fixed-media Album and she is updating her plugin package named parnux, written in Csound Language with Cabbage
Collaborations with Yarava
On October 30 and 31, 2025, Parham Izadyar’s sound installation, In Pursuit of Lost Wave, was premiered at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art in the event of In Pursuit of Sound.
Parham Izadyar’s piece, Cycle of Lies, was one of the selected pieces of the ninth RKC in 2025.
Parham Izadyar’s piece, The Window, was one of the selected pieces of the 3rd RKC in 2018. This piece, alongside other selected pieces, was released on a CD titled Camouflage by YMG Records.
Parham Izadyar’s piece, Homeland, was one of the selected pieces of the 2nd RKC in 2017. This piece, alongside other selected pieces, was released on a CD titled Sunset in the Woodland by YMG Records.
