
Morteza Modarresi holds a Master’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of art and architecture Central Tehran branch. He has studied classical guitar under the guidance of Golfam Khayyam, Rasam Lordkani, and Afshin Ziaian. His activities include collaboration with the Zaman Orchestra conducted by Farzad Daneshmand, performing and arranging for the Motif Ensemble, and performing as a musician and composer with the Goman Music Group.
He has participated in the Istanbul Guitar Festival and attended masterclasses by Leo Brouwer, Marcin Dyla, and Lorenzo Micheli. Notable performance venues include the Roudaki Hall, Milad Tower, and the Music Museum, both as a soloist and with orchestras.
He has also participated in music theory, harmony, and form courses at the California Institute of the Arts, where he received an honorable certificate. Additionally, he won the Best Film Music Award at the Flow Film Festival in Florida, USA.
Since 2012, Madarasi has been working as a classical guitarist with the Yarava Music Group.
