Behnoosh Sabetghadam

Biography
Behnoosh Sabetghadam, born in 1984 in Sabzevar, Iran. Graduated in Applied Chemistry from Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology (2002–2006). In 2002, during her university years, she became acquainted with the university’s music club and began her activities as a choir singer in the university choir group. From 2007, she worked as a soprano singer with the Naamira Choir, under the leadership and composition of Farhad Harati, and performed on stage in various halls in Tehran until 2014. She also served as the director of the Naamira Children’s and Youth Choir for two years. In 2014, she moved to Armenia and pursued studies in classical vocal performance at the Komitas Conservatory in Yerevan, graduating with a Red Diploma (with honors). In 2018, she returned to Iran and began teaching vocal performance and solfège. Simultaneously, she attended contemporary vocal classes with Shaghayegh Bagheri and continues to update her vocal techniques (in various styles) under her instructor’s guidance to this day. Since 2020, she has been collaborating with the Yarava Music Ensemble, and this collaboration continues to this day.

As Singer
Behnoosh Sabetghadam collaborated with Yarava in performing the pieces of the 5th year of RKC (2020). These pieces were released on a CD titled Piece for Two or Three Channels by YMG Records.
