
Born on June 22, 1988, in Tehran, Atiyeh Shahverdi completed her studies in Persian Literature at Tajik National University. Her artistic career began at the age of twelve, learning the Daf under Manijeh Hanani. She subsequently pursued her professional path under the supervision of masters such as Mehdi Rezaei, Saber Kakavand, Mehdi Jalali, Behnam Masoumi, Farzad Moradi, and Andreas Rohde.
She has a history of collaboration with the New Music Orchestra, Alireza Mashayekhi’s Meta-X Group, and has appeared as a guest musician with the Sanama and Koobeh groups. Shahverdi has performed at various festivals, including the Vocal Arts Festival, KLANGWERKTAGE (Hamburg), the International Percussion Festival (Yerevan), the Contemporary Music Magazine Festival, and the Tehran Classic to Contemporary Festivals.
Shahverdi has been collaborating with Ensemble Deux since 2019 and with the Yarava Music Group since 2003. She currently serves as the manager of the Yarava Modern Orchestra.
